Things that I love . . . .

My kids are my greatest joy in life. They are all sweet and funny and amazing!! I am the worlds most proudest aunt in the entire universe. I would do anything for them to ensure they are happy. I try to set a good example for them and offer advice when they ask (which they do sometimes). They also teach me things every time I am with them, whether its a new dance step or unconditional love. They are truly my reason for being, to be their aunt.

I have the worlds BEST Grandma! This was her 85th birthday. She is by far the classiest lady I have ever known. She has a big heart. She loves all of her grandkids equally, no matter how hard I try to persuade her to think I am her favorite. Believe me, I try! haha!! Most of my childhood memories exist in her home. Her generosity and undconditional love astound me. I hope to be half as awesome as she is someday.

I love trains. I have ever since I was a kid. As a child for Christmas I asked for a train every year. My mom couldn't bring herself to buy her only daughter a train set. I finally got one when I was 15 years old (by then I stopped asking), I think she bought it out of guilt, haha!! My Grandpa on my dad's side worked with trains along with most of his family. I never had the chance to meet him and share our passion for trains.

I love my cat Lucy!! She is a great pet to have, and she has an insane personality that I adore! I am grateful to have her in my life. Pets are therapeutic for the soul.

I love tree's. No reason, other than I love being surrounded by them, I think they are pretty, and I love to hear the leaves (especially quakies) rustling.

I love flowers, my top two favorites are tulips and daisies. The daisy is my mom's favorite flower, and therefore they make me think of her. Tulips are my favorite. I love how they look, how they smell and every spring you can depend on them.

I love the mountains. Its my place of serenity. When life stresses me out (which is all of the time, haha!!) I can go there either physically or mentally and it can calm me. I love the peace and quiet up there. In general the people you meet are friendly.

I love churches. I love the architecture, the personality and the reverance that each church holds. The thousands of prayers hushed inside the solemn walls, the tears of joy and sorrow.

Happy 4th of July!

God Bless America, land of the Free!!
This is my favorite holiday. I love the 4th of July. The picnics, parades, city fairs, rodeo's, bbq's, fireworks, late summer nights, and the enthusiam of our nation to unite and show our American pride. Yesterday I drove down Redwood Road in Riverton, and there are chairs and American flags lining the road for the Riverton Days Parade! I never actually go and watch the parades, but I love that people do. I love the excitement people have for traditions. I LOVE traditions. I think that keeps families and friends close, to have traditions. My family every year has a bbq and lights fireworks. I sent a text message to my family to see what everyone was doing, and my neice Amber replied with "Duh, its tradition will be over for the bbq." It touched my heart. She is a fan of traditions as I am!! You never know when the kids are going to get too old to want to hang out with the family, she apparently will never bo too old or too "cool" for the family.
I hope everyone has a fun filled 4th of July weekend. Be safe, and remember the soldiers who have fought or are fighting for our freedom or the freedom of others.
