Today is November 1st. I am excited for the holidays this year. I already want to play Christmas music and put up my Christmas decorations. I do this every year. I hold off as long as I can. If I put it up too early I will be sickk of it before Christmas actually gets here. I do have to say, a few friends and I went out to dinner last night (Halloween) and we got to singing some Christmas Carols. haha!! I might have instigated it. :) I do despise the stores that start pushing Christmas on us WAY too early. I think they should at least wait until November. If I have to wait, so should they.

Christmas lights
Nativity scenes

Santa Clause
family time
birthdays (we have a few this time of year)
leaves changing colors and falling to the ground
crisp cool air
the first snow fall
snow covered ground, untouched by footprints
snowmen
bundled up in winter clothes
extra blankets on the bed
my fluffy zipper robe
hot cocoa
dark nights
dark mornings
holiday spirit
Toys for Tots program
Christmas trees
scarfs and mittens
downtown decorated for the holidays
Christmas parties
the end of the year and the anticipation of a new year approaching

I too am ready for the Christmas season, I will wait and put up my decorations on Thanksgiving. But I know that the kids and I have looked at the decorations in the store:)
